BESPOKE INVITATIONS AND CREATIVE DESIGN
I design bespoke invitations and am occasionally commissioned for wider creative work, both personal and professional.
Working with a small number of clients each year allows every project to receive close personal attention.

LUCY CLEMSON
Founder of RSVP London
Since 2006, I have designed bespoke invitation pieces for private clients, global brands and distinguished hosts, worldwide. Over time, this has also extended into selected creative commissions, both personal and professional.
My work has been received by British and international royalty, and figures across fashion, film and the arts. Each commission is approached with care, precision, attention to detail and a strong sense of personal expression.
In an increasingly digital world, I believe a physical invitation still carries a particular weight. A thoughtful and generous expression of intent. Whether simple and typographic or more theatrical and expressive, each piece is designed to set the tone, and become something worth keeping.
I undertake a limited number of commissions each season. Private consultations are available by appointment.
“A master stroke.”
Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I grew up surrounded by art and music — painting and making with my mother, learning patience and process in the photographic darkroom of my father, a bass guitarist, and absorbing colour and rhythm through my grandfather, an abstract artist and jazz drummer.
Rock, pop, jazz, classical and Motown filled our home. Those early influences instilled not only a respect for craft, but a deep love of beauty, music and imaginative play. They continue to shape the way I work today: thoughtful and precise, but also joyful, intuitive, and led by curiosity.
SELECTED WORK
Many commissions remain private at the request of the client. The work shown here represents only a small part of my practice.
Each piece is created with the same care, attention, and respect for the occasion and the people behind it.

CREATIVE DIRECTION AND CONSULTING
CLIENTS
Alongside private commissions, I have worked with a wide range of international organisations, cultural institutions, and charitable foundations since 2006. The clients shown here represent a small selection of past collaborations.
Discretion and confidentiality are central to my practice. Many projects are undertaken under non-disclosure agreements, and a significant proportion of my work remains private at the request of clients. Where confidentiality is required, client names and brands are never shared.

FAQs
Each commission begins with an initial conversation to understand the occasion, context, and creative direction.
From there, I develop a bespoke design concept, including proposed materials, timelines, and costs.
The design is refined collaboratively until every detail feels right, before moving into production.
I work closely with a limited number of clients at any one time to ensure each project receives full creative attention, and detailed creative development is undertaken on a commissioned basis.
Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the design, materials, and production methods involved.
Most bespoke commissions require several weeks from initial concept to final delivery.
Early enquiries are strongly recommended, particularly for larger or time-sensitive projects, as availability is limited.
Each commission is individually quoted based on scope, materials, production methods, and the level of creative involvement required.
Bespoke invitation projects typically represent a significant investment, reflecting the time, craft, and personal attention involved from concept to completion.
Following an initial conversation, I provide a clear proposal outlining creative direction, timelines, and costs.
All design, artwork, production coordination, and delivery are included unless otherwise specified.
I’m very happy to share material samples and examples of previous work to help guide initial decisions.
Finished, fully customised samples are produced as part of the commissioned design process and are charged accordingly, as they require full artwork and production.
Where specialist processes are involved, additional production costs may apply.

I regularly create individual, highly bespoke pieces for clients, often commissioned as meaningful gifts or keepsakes — such as invitations to a special journey, celebration, or experience.
These one-off projects receive the same care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail as larger commissions, and are treated with the same level of thought and consideration.

Alongside invitations, I often design a full suite of complementary materials to ensure a cohesive and considered visual experience.
This may include items such as bespoke travel itineraries, in-flight stationery, guest guides, maps, table plans, place cards, menus, and other personalised details for travel and accommodation, where relevant.
All additional pieces are developed in harmony with the original design, maintaining a consistent tone and aesthetic throughout.

In certain circumstances, I create bespoke digital invitations for clients who prefer an electronic format or require a shorter turnaround.
These are designed with the same care and attention as printed pieces, and are supplied as beautifully finished files for digital distribution.

I’m very happy to work with clients worldwide, and to manage design, production, and delivery with care and discretion.
